Spiritual warfare is not a new tactic. It is the oldest thing and the first thing that humans dealt with as a problem. The problem of the enemy influencing and attacking us to choose the other side of the sword. The Sword of the Lord is His truth- His word that dissects between truth and lies. It dissects between the wiles of the Devil and the holiness of the Lord. Believers deal with it every single day. The closer we draw to the Lord, the further we move into battle. The more ogres and monsters we have to face. The mores holes we are more likely to stumble in- or even dig ourselves. Sometimes warfare can be a raging whirlwind where everything is going wrong. Loved ones pass away. Friends and family become sick. Jobs are lots. Money is tight. Anger and dissension breed among relationships. Life can feel like a living hell.
Or sometimes, it can something not so big. Yesterday, when I tried to post my last Bible journaling entry, Instagram said the connection was bad and would not post. I can't post a picture but these random cat videos are showing up crystal clear? I'm not stupid. It took me 30 mins and 18 tries (YES GIRL) later to get it to post. This morning, my inbox had a few messages from complete strangers who shared with me their situations and how that post was an encouragement of truth for them. The Devil doesn't want us to advance. He wants us to stay stagnant- wrapped up in binge watching TV and endless social feed scrolling. Mindless. Useless. Cowards. Stay woke folks. You're in a battle whether you like it or not. Keep your eyes open, your minds focused, your heart clean and your soul nourished. The enemy doesn't play nice. He's smarter and more powerful than us. WE ARE NOT ALONE. Stay close to the One who leads us in this battle. He is the ultimate warrior in not only the battles, but He is the One who is going to WIN the war. Raise A Hallelujah Lyrics by Bethel

"Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. 27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified." -Romans 8:26-30 (ESV) If somebody handed you a lemon when you were a child you wouldn’t have known what to do with it. You wouldn’t have ate it once you tried it because it’s so sour and you would have probably been mad that somebody gave you a lemon in the first place. Unless you’re one of the weird kids who eat sour stuff 😂💛 God gives us lemons. No one is a fan of having curveballs and plot twists thrown their way but that’s life. It’s how you handle it that counts. You can do a lot with lemons! You can cook with them, you can clean with them, you can grow plants from them, and they’re great for you body in helping to fight germs! They’re very useful tools IF you CHOOSE to use them as such. The lemons He gives us are for our benefit- never for our demise. We may not know what to do with them at all the time but He can help us! And before you know it you’ll be drinking refreshing lemonade from those sour lemons. It’s not all bad 🙌🏻. MATERIALS:
#7 [grace] Illustrated Faith Gratitude Documented 2018“Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” -Romans 5:20 (ESV)Perfect people can follow the law and never break it. Jesus was the only one who ever accomplished this. Imperfect people cannot follow the law and will break it. We are not Jesus, not matter how hard we try to be like Him. That’s why He created grace- for every single moment when we aren’t perfect. Which is all the time.

"Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience.” -Romans 12:14 - 13:5 (ESV) Let me explain the background, even though you can barely see it.... I put masking tape down on my craft mat and painted and stamped/stenciled the different Avenger colors and symbols. I then taped them side by side for the background. The stickers covered most of it up but you can still see some of it. Glad I took a before photo!
