What I love the most about this pen is that it is pure black india ink which is the most pigmented and permanent of all the inks. They come in a variety of colors, sizes, and nib types but my favorite is the black brush nib because it will write over almost any surface. While the ink is permanent, it quite versatile for a few seconds before completely drying which is perfect for shading over non-porous surfaces.
