Ranger Archival Ink Pad, Jet Black

​Even though I love my Memento Black, the Ranger Archival Ink Pad in Jet Black does a much better job when stamping finer detailed stamps because the pad is woven much tighter. It's also available in a variety of other Ranger designer colors!
  • When stamping with jet black Archival ink you will get a crisp, vivid image that does not bleed or smudge when painted over with water colors, water-based inks, markers or pearl pigments.​
  • Jet black ink quickly air dries on matte surfaces. On glossy surfaces, allow 20 minutes to dry or heat set for faster results.

​Unlike my other black ink pads, this is the only one that will adhere to glossy surfaces permanently. I use this mostly for stamping on glossy surfaces like photo paper and white/clear sticker paper.

Tsukineko Memento Dew Drops

My favorite black ink pad? Well, they make a mini version perfect for traveling and detailing. This ink pad is in the shape of an actual dew drop so it has as tiny tip at the top for detailing stamps and a large round bottom for full coverage stamping. The bottom is also the perfect size for storing your ink blending tool foam pads.

​These distress inks only come in one size 3x3 because of the ink formula. BUT they also come in beautiful sprays now which are so fun to use after smushing and swiping these beauties on craft mats for years. If you love watercoloring, then give these a try! They are fun to spray with water and watch them change and react with other elements. Don't forget your ink pad reinkers!

Ranger Ink Blending Tool- Round Foam

There are so many ink blending tools out there but this one seems to the most popular. I'm not much an ink blender like some of the other creatives out there but when I do want to darken some edges and apply layers of ink or paint- these work wonderfully- especially for smooth blending and stenciling. With the interchangeable foam pads, you can easily switch between colors. Or you could have a tool for every color ink you have if you're a real die hard inker!

Tonic Studios Stamping Platform by Tim Holtz- An innovative surface for precision stamping with rubber and clear stamps. Engineered to ensure an accurate, even contact every time. Marked in both imperial and metric measurements, accurately placing stamps at specific intervals could not be easier. This package contains one 9.5 x 11. 5 inch stamp platform with an 8.5x8. 5 inch stamping area side ruler and two magnets.

I prefer this one over the MISTI stamping platform. It's more durable, especially for those hard stamping jobs and it's designed specifically for using rubber and cling stamps individually which I think aids in better stamping. I can definitely tell a difference!
