Striped Stairs

​This is an 18x24 graphite and charcoal piece done in a beginning art class at university. It's not fancy but it took me a whole to get this done with a a whole lot of shading only to be ripped up into 40 different pieces by the professor. She wasn't my favorite person needless to say. She had a ruthless way of telling us how much our art sucked. Everybody's got ripped up during the morning critique. But, at least she didn't make us draw it again. After this assignment we had to draw rhinos and pumpkins. And dead bugs. And dead peoples teeth.
