This week is #mentalhealthawareness week (the whole month of May really) and I’m starting a new journal that I think has been long over due. I have anxiety, depression, PTSD and a chronic invasive sinusitis disease that affects mental health. It’s not fun peeps. Not for any one who faces it on a day to day basis or even those who have occasional flare ups. But it’s not the end of the world either- even though it feels like it sometimes. There’s all the more reason to simply do this: b e. k I n d. You don’t what other people face everyday. You might think you do- but you don’t. Majority of the people facing mental health issues are high functioning and may seem normal to you… but there’s a war going on in the inside. Regardless if you have issues or not- we all get stressed. We all have been stressed. The world has taken a toll on everyone living in it including the animals and nature. So- be kind ✌🏻 Remember to breathe. Features here is my anxiety breathing whistle necklace that I wear everyday to remind myself to you guessed it- b r e a t h e. MATERIALS:
"The problem is never how to get new, innovative thoughts into your mind, but how to get old ones out. Every mind is a building filled with archaic furniture. Clean out a corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it." -Dee Hock
"Dreams are answers to questions we haven't yet figured out how to ask. That which the dream shows is the shadow of such wisdom as exists in man even if during his waking state he may know nothing about it... we do not know it because we are fooling away our time with outward and perishing things, and are all asleep in regard to that which is real within ourselves." -Paracelus MATERIALS:
