Book Quotes: Volume I Journal Cover

With all the time I've been spending in waiting rooms of doctor offices and hospital rooms, I've had a chance to catch up on some reading. I'm always behind! ANYwho, when I read- no matter what I'm reading- I like to takes notes. I usually find quite a few good nuggets of quotable tucked in between pages. It's not until the recent splurge of art journaling that I decided to illustrate these quotes, even if it's only stamping out the text.

This is the first journal I've started with a quite a few pages already. I finally decided on a cover for it and these Momenta Bold Clear Alpha Stamps were perfect! I love a clean bold look. The background is some funky gift wrap from Michaels with some bits and pieces from my collage bucket and voila.

Clear taping the cover is equally accomplishing!

This was bright and colorful page made with some alcohol ink scraps. I stamped the bottles on the scraps, cut them out and then added some splashes of the same color onto the page I even star punched the tiniest leftovers. Scraps this gorgeous must be magical!
