MMAS Prompt: FAVORITE

The #mondaypromptproject for Mixed Media Art School this week is FAVORITE.

My favorite is not the prettiest but it makes me happy. Recycled scraps and paint splatters. I made this spread using scrap recycled food boxes cut into strips and pasted on a snack cake box page in my handmade disc journal. Simple black and white stamping using Ranger Ink Stampers Anonymous Dyan Reaveley - Dylusions Oodles of Foliage and Branching Out stamp sets. And... fluid acrylic ink for splatters. So simple, but so fun to do. 🌱

I cannabalized one of my art journal pages I did a long time ago because it was awful. The base was black tempera paint that I used up from a leftover church project and I couldn't do anything over top it because it would bleed. So... I cut it up into some useful circles. I love the texture but I'm not a fan of the medium.

These circles are the leftover pieces from my Dylusions art journal cover project for Creativation 2020. I cut the leftover pieces into circles and hearts. Why waste just beautiful painted paper? I'll be doing a similar one with the heart shapes later.
