Glitter paint- I used old Tulip Fabric Paint I'm trying to use up but you can use anything you have!

This layout caused a bit of frustration towards the end. Once I put down the napkin for the background I knew I would have to add a layer of glue on top other it would absorb anything like a sponge. If you try this and want to layer something on top, I would suggest adding a layer of clear gesso on top so your next layer will have some tooth to stick to. The die cut leaves did okay but that napkin soaked in the glue and made it tricky to stick.

The other frustrating thing was the gold rub on leaves. They are gorgeous BUT I have a feeling they're fairly old because they would not stick no matter how much pressure I applied, I even tried using a glue stick to see if it would stick to the glue like a foiling technique does, but- nope. SO- plan B. I cut the leaves along with the backing paper and glued them directly to the page. It's not as I would have hoped but I was determined to use those leaves (:
