A cactus doesn’t require much water to survive. It can survive some of the most oppressive temperatures in the desert. But it could not do it without water. Every living thing requires some form of water and oxygen to live. The same is true for our souls. In order to survive the oppression that we face every day, we need the Water of the Word. We don’t need to have it all absorbed- I don’t think anyone is capable of that- but we need enough in us to stay hydrated. And I don’t mean a sprinkling of a 5 minute devotion or something that comes across your feed. Be saturated in the Word- soak up the goodness. Because this world will dry you out and give you wrinkles ☺️ MATERIALS:

"Afterward Moses and Aaron went and said to Pharaoh, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, ‘Let my people go, that they may hold a feast to me in the wilderness.’” But Pharaoh said, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey his voice and let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, and moreover, I will not let Israel go.” -Exodus 5:1-2 (ESV)"All that God had to do to harden Pharaoh’s heart, or harden your own heart, is to withhold His own grace.” -RC Sproul
"I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment. I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God, and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. I will bring you into the land that I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. I will give it to you for a possession. I am the Lord.’” -Exodus 6:6-8Found a calendar many moons ago with gorgeous artwork... tore it apart and laminated each one for my future home. This is one the samples from the back 😍
London based Artist: @freyaete MATERIALS: "See, the Lord has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, with intelligence, with knowledge, and with all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold and silver and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, for work in every skilled craft. And he has inspired him to teach, both him and Oholiab the son of Ahisamach of the tribe of Dan. He has filled them with skill to do every sort of work done by an engraver or by a designer or by an embroiderer in blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, or by a weaver—by any sort of workman or skilled designer." -Exodus 35:30-35 (ESV)
