It’s so easy to settle nowadays…
It’s so easy to settle… when you think God doesn’t have better for you. Oof. Are you bad for having that mind set? I know I am. I’ve learned recently a new layer of myself… I have no perception of how an individual feels about me. And that includes God. Oof. I’ve got some learning to do peeps. Lots of learning and praying… but I’m thankful that the Lord revealed this to me…. It makes a lot of puzzle pieces click that weren’t clicking. And… I don’t want to settle for Satans second hand handiwork. I been burned for for so long that I’m tired of doing things of what I think is best… because I clearly fail at most of them. Remember Joseph? Now he went through something… but what if he dodged the story God had written for him? Yeah it sucked for the most part but he reaped so many benefits and was blessing to the ministry of God’s handiwork.

I journaled this printable in the book of Genesis where God promised Sarah, a lady old as our great great great great grandmother... a baby.
And she laughed! She laughed at God- at His promises! What she desperately wanted but she laughed anyway... Admit it- if you were that old you would probably scoff too. Not no so much that we don’t he couldn’t do it (He created the earth and everything in it for heaven’s sake...) but because we tend to believe things based on our own limited understanding. She had faith, not doubt, but this was a big stretch for her. We’re the same way. But God, He designed every detailing aspect of our lives before we were born... before He even created the universe. So why do we worry so much? Stretch your faith a bit peeps! MATERIALS: MATERIALS:
Now Israel loved Joseph more than any other of his sons, because he was the son of his old age. And he made him a robe of many colors. But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peacefully to him.
Now Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers they hated him even more. He said to them, “Hear this dream that I have dreamed: Behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and behold, my sheaf arose and stood upright. And behold, your sheaves gathered around it and bowed down to my sheaf.” His brothers said to him, “Are you indeed to reign over us? Or are you indeed to rule over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words." -Genesis 37:3-8 (ESV) "Then they sat down to eat. And looking up they saw a caravan of Ishmaelites coming from Gilead, with their camels bearing gum, balm, and myrrh, on their way to carry it down to Egypt. Then Judah said to his brothers, “What profit is it if we kill our brother and conceal his blood? Come, let us sell him to the Ishmaelites, and let not our hand be upon him, for he is our brother, our own flesh.” And his brothers listened to him. Then Midianite traders passed by. And they drew Joseph up and lifted him out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver. They took Joseph to Egypt." -Genesis 37:25-28 (ESV)
