Recharge My Heart

“Build up, build up, prepare the way, remove every obstruction from my people's way.” For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite." -Isaiah 57:14-15 (ESV)

As I grow older, I’m finding on a daily basis that I have to unplug myself from this world from all its noise and chaos and pressure and poison that leaks into our souls like an IV drip. It’ll make you mad. 5-10 SOLID minutes a day can do you a lot of good. Even when I just turn my phone off I feel so free that it’s like magic ✨

Unplugging and recharging means turning the world on mute and actively reading and listening to His word. Even if you gain one simple truth from your time out session- it’s one thing you can hold onto and ponder over until you can recharge again. Jesus had to do it. He had to go get away from the crowds of people so He could be alone and pray. How much more do we need to do that so we can orient ourselves and focus on the mission He has for us? Something has to keep us going! Let it be the Lord! ❤️
