“Now the Levites were numbered from the age of 30 and above; and the number of individual males was 38,000. Of these, 24,000 were to look after the work of the house of the Lord, 6,000 were officers and judges, 4,000 were gatekeepers, and 4,000 praised the Lord with musical instruments, “which I made,” said David, “for giving praise.”.... Roughly 4-5,000 young men were charged with thanking and praising the Lord every morning and every evening within the church. That’s a big responsibility. That’s like going to church every single day. Some of us can barely find it in ourselves to make it one day a week let alone 14 times a week- and that doesn’t include the major events. AND they had a ton of other things to do outside of praising that I couldn’t fit here.
Where are our hearts at? How much do we have to be thankful for? How much effort do we put into being truly thankful? PS. those painted circles are stickers one of my art students was going to throw away because she thought she messed up on her project on a technique I was teaching. I can’t wait to show her how you can turn something “not so pretty” into “pretty awesome” if you don’t give up on it ..and to never throw anything away (: MATERIALS:
